Welcome Artists to 2011 Arts On The Creek
Please read the following instructions carefully. We strive to make your time with us as enjoyable as possible. Load-in/out can be extremely frustrating, and we hope that this plan, though structured, will make it reasonably painless.
Arrival
When you arrive, go first to the designated parking area and sign in at the registration booth. From there you will be directed to cue up your vehicle to go to your booth.
Because space is tight, we will load-in on a schedule. We have assigned every booth to a load-in group, either A, B, C or D. (see below). Groups have been given an arrival time. In order to have an efficient load-in, we ask that you arrive at your specified time. Those arriving ahead of time will not be allowed to access their booth until their specified time. Those arriving late will be required to wait for others to finish loading in before they may access their site.
At your booth site, fully unload your vehicle and then drive it to the artists' parking area before setup. Each group will have ½ hour to unload.
In the event of rain, we will run the schedule twice, if necessary, to enable you to unload and erect your booth, then come back through and unload your artwork into your tent.
No one will be allowed to set up on Saturday morning prior to 7am.
All vehicles MUST be out of the Artists' Market by 9am Saturday, and by 11am Sunday.
Load-In Groups: Friday, September 2

Parking
Friday
Artists should park on Friday only at the east end of the Chapel parking lot.
From Medlock Crossing Parkway, turn south on Ventana Way (at the Stat Medical building) and drive straight through into the parking area. Just past the stop sign is your parking area. Proceed to the Welcome Tent for space assignment.
Saturday and Sunday
Artists should park in the North parking area. From Medlock Crossing Parkway, turn south into the Northwest entrance to the Perimeter Campus, the main church entrance on this road. This will be clearly marked with Arts On The Creek signs. Proceed approximately 200 feet to a small roundabout. Drive three quarters of the way around the roundabout into the North parking area. This will be marked for Artists, Sponsors and Vendors. Golf carts will be available at the south end of this lot to ferry you to the festival grounds, up until Saturday at 9:30 a.m. and Sunday at 12:30 p.m.
Registration
Please park in the designated lot and sign in at the registration booth. You must show a picture ID to gain access. Please wear your Artist tag at all times while on the premises.
Departure
The festival officially closes at 6pm Sunday, September 4th. Artists are obligated to remain throughout the entire festival. At 6pm Sunday you may begin to break down your booth. A festival official will issue you a load-out pass only after you have completely broken down your booth and are ready to load. That pass will allow you to bring your car onto the Artists' Market grounds.
Please be considerate of others.

General travel information
Atlanta has 2 interstates running through it, I-75 running between Florida and Tennessee, and I-85 running between Alabama and the Carolinas. Circling the city is I-285 which forms a loop known locally as "the perimeter." Johns Creek is NNE outside the perimeter.
From I-75 Northbound: If you are traveling north from Florida on I-75, you will encounter I-285 twice, once at the south perimeter and then at the north. At the north side, you will take I-285 WEST and take the second exit, Peachtree Industrial (Rte 141 North.)
From I-75 Southbound: If, on the other hand, you are traveling south on I-75, you will take I-285 EAST to Peachtree Industrial (Rte 141 North.)
Directions from Peachtree Industrial Northbound: Travel North on Peachtree Industrial and follow the sign to Cumming/Dahlonega. The road forks, Peachtree Industrial to the Right, Peachtree Parkway (Rte 141) to the Left. Stay to the Left and remain on Rte 141.
Peachtree Parkway becomes Medlock Bridge Rd (left turn). DO NOT turn right. Continue straight ahead on Medlock Bridge Rd. Turn Left at Medlock Crossing Parkway. Follow the signs to turn left into the park and continue to the Welcome tent. You will then be directed to the parking area for Artists, Vendors and Entertainers.
From I-85 Southbound: Exit at Pleasant Hill and turn Right (West) off the exit ramp. Continue traveling West. Turn Left at Medlock Bridge Road.
