Labor Day Weekend, Sept. 2-4
The tradition of Arts On The Creek presented by Fifth Third Bank on the front lawn of the Perimeter Church and in the Johns Creek Arts Center continued. We introduced a new component: art performances, demonstrations, workshops and other arts events hosted by the Arts Alliance at Johns Creek. The six components of the AAAJC greatly expanded the participatory and hands-on creativity during the festival. Wayne Baughman, musical director and conductor of the Johns Creek Symphony Orchestra, presented two sessions of Meet the Maestro! We notably expanded our social media presence that included People\\\'s Choice Awards in four categories voted upon by QR codes and paper ballots. The festival greatly expanded its program, making it a multiple-page color book. The show ran the entire month of September. The City of Johns Creek continued to be a major sponsor. Robin Buckley joined the festival as Artists\\\' Market deputy team leader and Jennifer Chapman of the City of Johns Creek served as our graphic designer.Photos by Tripod Photography
